Position overview:

 

Optimas is currently searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Administrator for our site in Gloucester.

 

Principal activities:

 

          Understand, develop and promote the Company’s business objectives and participate with total enthusiasm and commitment to achieve and exceed them

          Ensure that you fully understand your work requirements and duties and highlight any training needs and requirements to enable you to undertake your duties

 

Main responsibilities:

 

          Collating and distribution of picking documentation

          Responsibility for the upkeep and storage of all warehouse documentation

  • WMS (warehouse management system) stock maintenance input
  • Data input on WMS system

          Dealing with telephone and general warehouse enquires

  • Release of JIT notes
  • Raise commercial invoices for export
  • Other warehouse duties including: Picking/warehouse goods in
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Highly organised, showing good attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines with good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, multi-task and be flexible
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages – in particular Excel
  • Stock administration skills
  • Working well as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to work patterns

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Warehouse Administrator to join a supportive team working within a friendly and busy environment. There will be opportunity to take on extra responsibilities to support the Manager and build relationships with staff from many different departments in the company.
